I am assuming that MBT really requires a ISDN connect -- or, are their many happy MBT campers out there using just a 56k connect?

What computer equipment is required?

Minimum hardware suggested is a Pentium based machine with at least 133 MHz (166 MHz or greater recommended) processor with 32 megabytes of RAM (64mb recommended) Your modem may be either 64/128k ISDN, 56 or 33.6 Kbps. Available Hard Disk space should be no less than 20 megabytes. We also recommend at least a 2 megabyte Video Card and the largest possible monitor you can afford.

Multiple monitors are supported, and many clients opt for them by installing a separate monitor card for each monitor (this is supported in Win98), or by installing a single card that has more than one monitor output port (two, three, or four).

Please note that dual processor motherboards are not supported.

bede,

I have used MBT for four months with 56k modem. It is great much of the time but several times a day my quotes stop functioning, usually during spikes in market volume. I have one friend who said this problem went away with ISDN, another friend who is a software expert said that ISDN made no difference, that the freeze problem was due to bandwidth problems from Townsend. I wish I knew the answer.
