Abbey, My understanding is that the permitting process is going forward but has not yet been completed.

One thing I have learned is that apparently in Alberta the government owns the mineral rights. Here in the states, at least in Ohio, the land owner owns the rights and typically gets one eight of a play. Therefore, the locals have a financial interest in a well going ahead and it being successful. Sure, there are protesters, but still there is some incentive.

As an example, our city has two wells in parks and our church is going ahead with a well in the back property where local land owners will share.

I think we will be lucky to get a Christmas present - ie a drilled and tested well. Opinion of others please.

Bob

Hey Thread Get This Miracle - Bearcats No. 1:

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Ticker) -- Melvin Levett's dunk off a
brilliantly executed inbounds pass with one second left gave No.
14 Cincinnati a 77-75 victory over top-ranked Duke in the
championship game of the Great Alaska Shootout.

After the Blue Devils had battled back to tie the game behind
William Avery, the Bearcats had the ball out of bounds under
their own basket with three seconds left. Ryan Fletcher, a
quarterback in high school, lofted a long pass to the free throw
line. Kenyon Martin leapt, caught the ball and passed it while
still in the air to a cutting Levett, who dunked with one second
remaining.

"The play is called home run," Levett said. "It was the best
play we executed all night."
