You mentioned in a previous post that your buying puts was effectively the same as selling short. It seems quite a bit more conservative to buy the puts than to sell short since their is a definite maximum loss from the puts.

As some price point I may decide to buy some puts myself. However, historically it seems that whenever I wish to buy the puts they are highly priced even way out of the money. It guess it is the volatility of AMD that creates this put action.
