Bruce,

You're argument is reasoned, but I think we're both bandying somewhat emotionally.

I can't tell you why, but I've been there in EXACTLY the same situation. I've worked for companies that have had leading edge technology only to watch them decline for their inability to market and or stay technologically strong against larger better marketing companies. You don't hear what's really happening at the company from the CEO. You can't talk to employees, you can't see their true opinions on this. How many are leaving? What's the hiring like to replace them, if any? Reading the stock boards (like SI) against what you KNOW is going on inside the company is a really a laugh. People on the outside (like you and me) DON'T know anything.

Somewhat related, take the slow steady decline of NOVL against MSFT. NOVL OWNED the small workgroup LAN marketplace. There were late to the enterprise, and then it didn't matter. BNYN owned that WITH A TECHNOLOGICAL LEADERSHIP and MSFT came out with NT and the promise of Active Directory and NOVL (or BNYN) will never be the same again.

There are many documented cases of companies in MRVC's situation and there is a predeliction towards consolidation or "folding up the tent" instead of surviving and thriving. I am going with the odds, here.

In any event, I really do hope you make your investment grow at a rate that's reasonable, but only time will tell about that. For myself, I've had that "slow bloodletting" followed by a "big bloodletting" and it's time to stitch the wound and keep my blood.

Again, best regards to all.

<.If it's around 1 year from now as MRVC, it will still be in the lower double digits.>
OK, let's see, what you're saying is either MRVC will get taken out at a higher price, or it will be in the low double digits (at least a 50% gain from here)? I can live with either of the above. And, you're on the negative side....
