I almost bought more Macromedia last week and on Friday I got blindsided by a sneak peak of a new product called LiveStage when I read a news article on MacCentral and other news sites.

I guess you guys haven't been reading all the industry press about this new killer application for making interactive rich content. It's called LiveStage and will be available within a few weeks.

Watch for LiveStage in MacWeek, emediaweekly, and many other press sites over the next few weeks. It's already been on MacCentral news site twice in 3 days, also TechWeb WebTools and is gaining considerable attention with web designers. What is LiveStage? It's what Flash and Director should have been. From what people are saying about it. Completely interactive QuickTime movies (extremely compressed tighter than anything ShockWave and Flash can create) and it is fast.

Watch the news. LiveStage news is supposed to be out again this weekend. I'll leave the company's name that makes it out. And what is truly nerve racking for Macromedia shareholders is the company that makes LiveStage will give version 1.0 away. They are after marketshare and a cult following.

Wait till you see what it does. It's so cool.
