NETA PR is working overtime

According to PC Data, NETA's Aug 98 revenues were 6.2 million versus 11.57 million for SYMC (53%). In September, NETA's revenues were 7.25 million versus 15.435 million for SYMC (47%).

After being the #3 bestselling retail software for Aug '98, Viruscan fell to #15 in September even as the average selling price fell from $23 to $17. SYMC's NAV went up from #8 to #6 even as the average selling price went up from $41 to $47 (from August to September). This trend is continuing in October (through Oct 17). NAV has been in the top 10 for the first three weeks of October, while VS has been off it. All data is from PCData.com.

Never believe PR without checking out the facts.

Good Luck
