I can still faintly remember Senator Douglas and that gravely voice of Senator Dirksen. When those guys told you something, you could take it to the bank. Senator Mosley-Braun has gotten away with things most people go to jail for. She was almost charged with several things in '92 but that would have tainted the election.

12 Propositions on my California ballot today. We need to fire the politicos, since they make us pass everything ourselves anyway. When I moved to California in the mid 60s the state had a part-time legislature, and from what I see the state was run better that way. The bastards had to suffer with the rest of us when they passed lousy bills. Now they are a removed from the world of regular folks. Time to introduce the guillotine to the Golden State.
