Classic short and cover this morning. They felt out the demand and charged everyone $1.60 until all buyers were taken care of. Then at 10:04 there is a sell of 300 shares BELOW the bid. The bid is lowered to match this "big selloff". 5 minutes later.... sellers come along 2,000+ shares per trade being sold to help the MMs cover this mornings shorting. Unless another slew of buyers come along this should allow the MMs to lower the price some more and maybe even build up a small inventory, but with the volatility here I'd expect the wholesalers to try to remain "flat".
