There, now that all the subjective judgemental opinions are out of the way, can we get back to something productive?

<sigh> Evidently not. I really don't want to get in a pissing contest; no one ever wins those. Maybe you do, maybe you're not having a good day, maybe that's just your nature, maybe you just don't like me for some reason. I don't know. It really doesn't matter.

Anyway, I found out there are a plethora of "Auto-kill-the-annoying popup dialogs" apps out there (whodathunk); most of them freeware, so I just got one configured it for geocities, and voila', I can get to the site without the things that annoy me and the authors and countless downloaders alike. W00t.

Incidentally, your "1 click to kill the add [sic]", is 5 clicks, and counting. That's just a bit much.

As for your biggotry [sic] charge, I can't even comment. Must be nice to throw stones from way over there.

I *do* appreciate your help with the batch stuff; I converted it to shell script and works like a charm. my machine is dog-slow, but at least I don't have to WATCH it go through the machinations every night.

Thanks.
