True Jim. I'm no fan of the goldbug mentality anyplace.

Nevertheless, I also align myself with that forecast which is, by no means, a goldbug view. I think you have heard me say quite often this year that I have an 18 month to two year view for gold/gold shares which, more or less, coincides with what George's guru is saying. He is talking about the start of the major movement, I'm talking about its end.

Jim: This guy RJ is no goldbug. He has been strongly bearish for several years. But he does now think the lows are in (although they may be tested again). In fact he has taken strong issue with another Kitco poster (a local on the Comex) who keeps saying POG will drop to $250. And RJ expects a major rally during the first half of 1999. Based on his record I would not be betting against him.
