Thanks Chief for the bank indictors concept. I had a stink bid in on NCT - when I thought it wasn't going to go my way, I cancelled the bid. Now in retrospect, I should have left in the stink bid! I could have made money between the low and close. But my head was thinking 'must trade up' to consider a buy. Someday I'm going to get good at this; just not today. In any case, it was interesting and I didn't lose any money.

So, I know I've mentioned that Greenline ticks me off, but I have not really complained much to them. All I've done so far is just lots of huffing and puffing and sarcasm. However, if you get something good lined up with RB, I will switch and tell Greenline to read this thread if they want to know why. Hopefully they are reading this now.

Also, I do the same thing as Kevin to get my trades through faster. When I'm interested in a stock, I'll put in a very low bid just to get through the approval process. Then, when I see a buy point, I 'change' my trade and it is executed right away. I do the same on the sell side. My guess is that their approval process only extends to the initial bid or ask and not to changes thereafter. This of course only works when you have a plan in mind, like my NCT today. I hate to be at the mercy of somebody on a bathroom break. But, on the other hand, I have a dread of the day when a whole bunch of my stink bids get filled all at the same time <whoops, and only three days to cover, G>. But often I do a trade purely based on momentum and when I see something I want it NOW, so the method doesn't work.

Regards!
