Message 41828 of 41831 Reply this week she_xlr8s (44/F/TX) Nov 3 1998 11:28AM EST big things happening at headquarters. all the big shots are in town. all vendors are converging for wining and dining and talks by e.p. and the boys. it's a who's who in tech events. future of the company should be outlined pretty clearly this week. look for major announcements in the next couple of weeks. companys direction will start to immerge and it sounds exciting. rumor: new product coming out code name "dell killer" should be coming out of phoenix. the street doesn't much care for price wars thus the disappointing drop in cpq and dell last couple of days. ride it out and it will pay off. dell's numbers were up due to government contract. dell picked #1 on government list. we all know the government strives to find the highest priced obsolecence it can find. remember the $750 wrench and the $1375 toilet seat? dell takes the honors! oh yeah!!!L8R
