Right now I'm using both Etrade and Priority Brokerage. As far as execution time goes, they're about comparable...somewhere in the neighbourhood of 20 seconds. You can "trick" the Etrade computer (see one of my previous posts on how to do it) and get executed in about 2 seconds or less.

Priority has suggested that if I want extremely fast execution, to try.....I think it's called PCquotes....a program that overlays theirs. Click on the screen and an order is generated. Click send and it gets executed in about 5 seconds....so they say...haven't tried it yet. Priority definitely beats the others on commisions especially on some of the penny stuff.

Off topic...anyone else following ARP today? (again!) Some really interesting trading going on, with 82 (again) buying strongly, and also PI that last time I checked was up net 250,000+ shares on the day. Check the ARP thread out and run a few charts of your own. VERY interesting to watch!
