Candlestick crud. opens high the closes at a daily low. Hence the name -- shape like a hammer. Supposedly ominous when the high is a new one and the low is lower than the high of the previous day. What does it mean? Absolutely nothing. Happened on the POS when I bought puts at 36. The next day was a down day. The day after that it was back up and through 36 BTW. BBY looks like a good short here.
