Dear JAB: You seem to be doing a good forensic examination of the company's financials. BRAVO. Are you saying they are on the COMPLETED CONTRACT method of Revenue recognition? If so seems to me they ought to be building up a large balance in CONTRACTS IN PROCESS or whatever they have named the deferral account. I didnt notice that but I wasnt that careful in looking. Generally speaking completed contract method is only acceptable for many small contracts under a year duration. Otherwise Percentage of Completion is the preferrable method. If ONLY we could learn the backlog of business we could tell if the SG&A has been spent wisely. JDN
