Its a little bit late now ! You always have to buy when blood
is on the street (5 - 5,5 $). Stock is already up 40 %, however heavy accumulation is going on and MM's try to setup their customers before earnings. As soon as the stock change to green I would buy if your holdings dont exceed 60 % of your port. After the news rollout I would reduce the stake to at least 40 %. Any TA one week before
earnings is useless.

If your stake exceeds already 60 % I would buy COHR. Thats a safe play with a win-win situation.

Jerome,

I got IFCI going to about the 6 1/2 area and firming before heading back up. That may be a little low considering earnings. Below that there is good resistance at 5 1/4. Notice that we essentially made a short term double top at about 8 that can't be ignored. Today's candlestick pattern was bearish along with the fact IFCI broke a short term trend line yesterday. There are many other signals but I won't go into them. FWIW-I'm still long IFCI because I don't was to miss any earnings magic. Will reload close to the bottom and pull the trigger at the next top. Just my opinion...

Jerome,
Another note. 8/17/98 was the date of the last earnings. My system generated a buy signal on 8/12/98 which was 3 trading days prior to earnings. After 8/17/98 there was a virtual freefall from 9 to just under 5. That drop took 10 trading days. I need to look at other previous earnings dates and see the price movements. Three trading days prior to Nov 10th would be the 5th. That would almost be about right. However, last time there was a general market "thing" happening and we aren't in the same situation now. My opinion only...

6.5 or 6.75 looks like the next low support. If it hits 6.5 add to your position. Also, if we have an up day on increased volume from the day before I'd add to it, or if we solidly break 8. I like Charly's suggestion of COHR. Also check NOVL and ADSC. There are several others to watch.
