This is such a silly article. Sales down what, 80% from previous year and so they interpret a 1% excess in aug/sep increment as a long-term "boom". Anybody who buys stock on that logic, deserves what they get.
Where did they find the guy that wrote this, sleeping under a highway? I think maybe there is an oversupply of Peyote in Arizona this season ...

when do turnarounds in the semi-equips begin in the past?(i mean price action not sales...etc)
when book to bill moves up or above 1?
when layoffs slowdown or at peak of layoffs?

one would think with all the recent layoffs that the industry is still going downhill....
do stock prices usually base or does it spike like it has recently?

seems like too many were quick to acknowledge a turnaround which is too optimistic....dont turnarounds occur at peak pesimism? which is after all optimists have sold?
if things were looking better wouldnt the companies be slowing down their firings knowing that business was getting better soon?

as soon as the semiequips tank again and the recent rash of firings and shutdowns slows down..i think i will buy...
turnaround already factored in at these prices

Interesting article in the IBD today on how the semi equipment rally has not got underway yet. I'm not sure what numbers the reporter is looking at, but my holdings have recovered quite well - but have a long ways to go before they are fully valued.
