Merritt, Thanks for your insights...You're right that offshore is the place to be positioned in the oils. I do believe that the whole sector will bump down in here again though so you will probably get your desired prices for your purchases. I like to work on a lag for purchases...ie i believe these companies will see business turn in about a year...so i'll play that six months ahead with full-fledged committment. In the meantime, I am loving this volatility and as you i am nearsighted at best as the long-term is yet foggy and my eyes aren't very good <G>. So, I am keeping my money moving...for as they say, if you stop a clock, it's only right twice a day. No buy and hold for me. Regards GS
