Webb: No, it didn't automatically delete the old disk buffer. I kept it, just in case I needed to use the older version again. The disk buffer is easy to remove, btw. You can just dump it in the recycling bin (not that you'd want to do that with the older version, of course).

The increased speed of the scans does make a difference. Some of my longer scans now take less than half the time.
