Thread: I was leafing through a catalog called "Mobile World" or something similar last night, and noted that almost every single mobile computing device (e.g. Nino) listed a CompactFlash slot as a feature. I wonder if these type of devices (more than a PDA less than a laptop) are catching on, what are the projected sales numbers for this market over the next 2-3 years, etc ? Right now, they seem a little too expensive for your average gadget guy or gal (IMO)...Merrill Lynch's current research report on SNDK ( available free on @ askmerill.com ) doesn't mention it all as a significant source of revenue in the near or intermediate term ( they are focused on the digital camera )

Any thoughts, flames, etc ?
