CSI 25th Annual Security Conference

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 2, 1998--MEMCO Software, Inc. (Nasdaq:MEMCF), a leading provider of information security software, today announced Proxima SSO 3.0.

Proxima provides corporate users and e-business customers with secure single login to all authorized internal and external applications. Version 3.0 of Proxima expands support to Web-enabled applications and offers new robust implementation capabilities for large enterprises. Proxima SSO 3.0 is being announced at the Computer Security Institute (CSI) 25th Annual Security Conference this week.

While doing business with customers over the Internet brings strategic advantages, the increased connectivity creates manageability and security issues. Proxima securely authenticates users, whether they use a standard password, token device or digital certificate. It then automates their access to applications across client/server, legacy and Internet-based systems.

The new version of Proxima integrates with Web servers, enabling corporations to provide Internet customers with transparent single sign-on access to applications anywhere in the organization. Proxima also offers new deployment capabilities via the use of enhanced SSO APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), providing an even faster roll out of single sign-on within large Global 2000 environments.
