I saw a lot of people at the polls here, comparatively speaking with previous elections. Interesting statistics. Wonder if it runs the other way as well -- repub prez, mid term elections -- demos gain on average.

I have no clue what the effect of the elections will be on the market.
I think short term the market will simply go up because the election is over. It's no longer an unknown. What effect would Clinton staying or going really have on the economy anyway? It's all in the perceptions of investors, if there is an effect.

I think the market is terrifically overvalued at this point, but it may touch the old highs. Tomorrow may be a good time to lighten up or short a few high flyers, if you haven't already, IMO.
