Re: Christmas Offerings

Here is a snippet from a review of "Streak," one of GT's only Christmas offerings...........

In addition to poor track design and horrid controls, Streak also suffers from very mediocre graphics. With enough polygon clipping and bad character animations to choke a small dog, this game just doesn't feel finished in the least. Jet Moto and Twisted Metal were never known for their excellent graphics or brilliant use of the PlayStation technology, but at least they relied on a good premise and highly entertaining gameplay. And since Streak has neither, it's left as a largely unplayable, ugly game that happens to have a four-player mode. Warn your mother and loved ones to avoid this game as a holiday purchase or suffer the consequences.

The Bottom Line: Without a solid premise, a fun factor, sound gameplay or adequate game design, Streak ends up being among the worst holiday fodder for the unsuspecting gamer.
