Paul Kangaroo would say it is a "statistical oddity!" BTW, I am sure the same thing happened some time in the spring of 1994. I can't recall the day.

>>Disney stumbles
Walt Disney Co. reported a 24 percent decline in fiscal fourth quarter profits, hurt by weaker motion picture results and higher start-up costs for a new theme park and cruise line. The entertainment company earned $296 million, or 14 cents a share, in the quarter, down from $390 million, or 19 cents a share, a year ago.<<

this ought to raise the S&P multiple a tad ....but who cares. Did this dismal performance beat expectations?? oh goodie can't wait to hear an upbeat analysis of this pos quarter by some perky talking head.
