SEOUL, Nov 4 (Reuters) - South Korea's Pantech Co Ltd said on Wednesday it has been
supplying Motorola Inc (NYSE:MOT - news) with 200 billion won worth of mobile phones.

''The phones, which use the Code Division Multiple Acess (CDMA) format, were jointly developed with Motorola but wholly
manufactured by us,'' a Pantech spokesman said.

He said nearly half, or some 350,000 sets, had already been shipped and the remainder would be delivered next year.

-- South Korean semiconductor industry is recovering its business as prices have strengthened and stockpiles have decreased,
said industry sources. They said Samsung Electronics, LG Semicon and Hyundai Electronics have cancelled plans to reduce
their capital for this month.

-- The South Korean government will reinforce regulations such as closing airlines for those companies which cause accidents,
said government officials.
