Bill, I generally do the add'l training on the weekends for all my nets, using the batch option. During the week I just train the stock(s) that I have in play, and make additional new nets. Also, you can peek at your diagonals, and do some more training when they get "fuzzy".

I'm also noticing that I get optimum accuracy by retraining each net from scratch every 6-8 weeks.

Bill,

I have two nets for each stock. One with a verify period and one without. The one with the verify period, I use for confirmation of net fitness and it gets trained on the weekend. The one without is the net I use for the daily buy and sell signals.

When I add new data I may or may not train it. It depends on the confidence level and on what the line looks like in the stats window. If the diagonal line of dots in the stats window is thicker than a line drawn with a thin felt tipped pen, I'll train the net for awhile until the line narrows. Usually training doesn't change the overall prediction, but sometimes it does change the positive and negative outlook and the confidence level. The only time I'll train the net with the verify period during the week is if I get three consecutive buy signals on it's sister net, which is the signal I use to take positions. Then I'll train the verify net to confirm the signal.

Lately I haven't done any trading to speak of for two reasons; tax loss selling is approaching and I don't like to be in the market very much during November and December and also, my nets haven't been producing the consecutive buy signals that I look for, which leads me to believe that Neuro is seeing something in the numbers that isn't quite right. That tells me that something is wrong with this rally were having.
