i am not talking about the reactors, i am talking about the bombs.

as for solar and wind, i coudl care less. personally i like solar because i can see how it can get much better...wind i think is kind of stupid.

the best bet would be to set up collectors at an earth/sun lagrange point and microwave it back to earth. but thats expensive. maybe in 100 years. until then, i am all about nuclear power...just not the crappy kind we have in the US.

what we should be doing is building breeders like the french and pumping money into energy research. of course, its easier to import oil. i am also a big fan of MHD coal plants, but the government will never provide the money for the test reactors.

back to the bombs, if you enjoy the sword of damocles right over your head...thats great. as for me, i prefer not to have to live through a nuclear war and its aftermath.
