Tony, Maybe I'm more quality and reliability conscious than the average bear, but I'd rather spend a little more and buy from long-time proven companies. You are welcome to spend incrementally more money to get higher performance, or a feeling (justified or not) that you are buying higher quality. But there are people who live on a budget, for whom price is a barrier to entry. Lowering the prices of entry level system lowers this barrier. I think you would agree that the difference between having a PC and not having one is a lot greater than the difference between $599 entry level PC and a $4,000 high end workstation. Joe
