I tend to think that Nettles appearance will be a wash. On the one hand, it is likely that he is going to announce a nice contract win by Ciena. On the other hand, they are going to pin him down on merger speculation and he is going to shoot that idea down. The people who are buying Ciena as a speculative merger play are going to retreat. The people buying on the fundamentals will come in. It's a wash.
