Why are you multiplying by 2.6? there is 1.347 tonnes in a cubic meter! There maybe 2.6 tonnes of lead/zinc/ in a cubic meter but 1.347 is the generally accepted conversion for the mass associated with dirt/rock and composites, unless I missed something!!
Can you prove that number? For instance in a cubic yard there are 1.247 ton a cubic meter is only 3 inches bigger on all three dimensions!
