I remember Harry from when I was a kid listening to the radio. He was a good friend of Pete Vonochen who owned a restaurant in Peoria where we used to drive to for a good meal. Those guys used to put the breweries on overtime when they got together. Pete gave Harry's eulogy. Both nice guys. When I was in about the 4th grade I was given an oral IQ test by a grad student for a survey. One question was "what is hari kari" and I answered "the guy calling the Cardinals game". Turned on the radio and at least I got that one right. Harry belonged to the Dirksen, Douglas era and it's a shame it's over.
