It does not have much on an institutional following either.
Their conference calls are usually quite short.

If I remember right most of their 980 nm laser products are
for the analog transmission of data. Most of the demand
is in the 1550 nm digital related products as they are used in
DWDM products.

Their equity position in Tellium is what interests me the most
as they are supposed to come out with some DWDM related
products in 1999.

International sales are still a significant part of their
revenues though this has been declining in recent quarters.
It looks like the pick up in domestic cable spending might be
restricted to only certain vendors so they are not benefitting
as much as anticipated.

I don't think they can squeeze anymore cost saving out of
their system as they have been doing that for a few quarters
now.
