E-commerce is being driven by executive mind share- The EDS, HP and CISCO alliance will be a powerful counter to the the absolutely supurb leadership shown by IBM's CEO in acquiring important mindshare with the the people who count - the top level corporate executives. It's can almost be characterized by a desperate attempt by the three parties to save their a__ in view of IBM's blitzkrieg in this important "killer" application. If only EDS had leadership with a similar vision, they could get in front of the curve once again. In my view, the guys and gals at EDS who put this partnership together should be running the company. But in review, I guess they actually are. That's the reason I am still long on EDS and still very optimistic about the future.
