Vegetarian Beans or Pork and Beans? David "BearMeat" Tice-Prudent Bear Fund on NBR So I am sitting at home, eating a salad for dinner, watching the Nightly Business Report, being entertained by Paul Kangas tonight when all of a sudden David Tice, mutual fund manager of the Prudent Bear Fund appears for an interview. In the interview, Mr. Tice said with a straight face, that he is predicting a Dow of approximately 4,000 in the next 12 to 18 months! What a prediction! I had a reaction any normal bull would have-I started choking on my salad, a tomato for those who want to know the details, and lettuce started coming out my...well I'll leave that detail out. Not out of fear of course but purely because I cannot eat and LAUGH at the same time. A trick I have not learned yet. But I do have a few questions: When the time comes to head to for the hills..with Mr. Tice as troop leader should I pack Vegetarian Beans or Pork and Beans for survival? What are the nutritional benefits, you know, the pros of cons, of packing the high protein beans for bear market survival?? I am almost tempted to go over to the Prudent Bear Thread and provoke his admirers just for laughs but I am afraid I will get slapped by bear meat...This is one guy who better get his resume in order...His fund is down 16% for the year but because his fund was up 21%, in the 3rd quarter, he thinks he is a hero!
