Lucius <<OT>> I think the message about massive retaliation would have been a threat up until the time of the Clinton administration. Somehow, the stature of a team of Bush/Powell/Swarzkopff (sp?) just isn't around any more. The bungling of the Somalia mission, our flailing around in Bosnia and the recent ridiculous publicity-stunt missile launch indicates how thread-bare the administration's grasp of military issues is, and I agree that we are left exposed by the lack of action on the part of our "leaders." Mr. K.
