Hello George

Its hard for me to imagine CJ not being able to tell a drill bit diamond from ore, they fluoresce differently. SUF didn't drill anything up here prior to their Klipspringer acquisition. I suspect that perhaps JK looked at some early ABZ or KCI drill results saw a dislodged drill bit diamond and filled his pants. He's always been trying to pass him self off as knowledgeable in this field when few were in those early days.

Only CF, JG and CJ were known to the Canadian industry back in 90 & 91 as experts in the field. Thats why ABZ retained CJ in the first place and helped him set up SUF in partial payment.

Speaking of JG, any idea why he resigned from the Board?

On a related matter, did you catch the 5th Estate on the CBC last night? You get it down there I believe. If not, they ran a story on Sierra Leon (sp?) It was about DF' (and a few Vancouver businessmen's) financial assistance to the government to overthrow the rebels in return for approximately two thirds of the country in terms of diamond mining concessions.

Regards

Given WSP's great performance today, moving up from a high bottom,
I'm surprised that there is so much silence. Is everyone hunkering
down and buying all they can at these prices and don't want to
risk convincing anyone else to drive the price up? The OBV looks
really good. The MacD is ambivalent.

Anyone else notice that the juniors are starting to move? KLA was
up 6 when I checked. HSX which has been dormant nearly doubled.
Raises some questions. The junior diamonds look like they're all
going to start to move. This, I find, is surprising given that
we're on the cusp of the tax selling season. That means the
prices are having to overcome a fair amount of drag. That means,
in turn, there must be some expectations building. WSP, MEO, MGJ
are expecting results. Do you all think that's the cause?

Today, the G&M had a small article about DeBeers and the Russians extending
their diamond selling contract for three more years.
