Well folks. Did you vote?? I mean at the Kitco site. They now have a setup to vote where the price of gold will be this Friday....as we used to say back east (in the states) where I grew up....vote,vote often,but vote...:)

Papaya : Sorry to disappoint you but, once a medium-term movement has been established, it usually takes a few months (certainly more than a few weeks) to run its course. Tonight, digisys updates their bi-weekly stochastics charts and I am quite sure that the downturn in POG will be confirmed. In which event, your bullishness will be shown to be premature.

Zeev Hed, of turnips fame, has a saying (about a falling market) that one should not clutch at falling knives.

I agree there is a contradiction between the relatively firm gold share prices and the apparently weak gold price. In my opinion, this out-of-phaseness will resolve and the dog will wag its tail although others (I know Jim feels this way) believe that the tail usually wags the dog!
