John,

I thought I posted the article that answers your question!? There is no definitive answer because know one "knows" what will happen, but the article states that Nintendo is looking at the VCM DRAM that NEC is pushing.

My theory is that NEC has a stronger direct relationship with Nintendo than RMBS (speculation on my part, but nationality comes in to pay- Japanese company selling to Japan company).

NEC probably brought RMBS to the Nintendo table and not vice versa- likewise NEC can probably influence Nintendo to go with VCM DRAM because "it is better, more cost effective, non royalty based, yada, yada, yada"

Simply speculation on my or anyones part, but the article was posted twice, but I will post again if you want.

If anyone cares to disagree, I welcome the "other side of the story"

PS- I'm just speculating and DO NOT want RMBS to lose the business, just smell something fishy- the RMBS positive is that with Intel's support Nintendo will have stable supply of RDRAM where VCM DRAM could be a crap shoot.
