I never said that the 21264 existed did I, or the K7 or the 440 Mhz 8500.. In fact I hate people saying that this is the fastest whatever. It doesn't matter if you can't get one.. you may debate EXPECTED performance.. byt the ssa-5 (i.e. original K5) was supposed to be AWESOME.. as was the i432, MIPS, SUPERSPARC, etc..

Why not apply the same standard to the 21264? It doesn't exist now either. Release date has been pushed out to December

That gives Xeon a lot of breathing room. More than 3 weeks!!! I can see why you are so excited about it, Elmer.

Now that is a change. I am glad you are impressed with the K7 architecture. Just imagine if that thing exists and runs at 700MHz.
