Tom, Brian and Steve:

Nice research Tom.

dailynews.yahoo.com

Maybe Isis should "race" to Dr.Ljubimova's lab. Once they have the sequence Isis could have a antisense molecule in a week.

Brian: Dr. Green doesn't post here however she reads this thread.

Steve: If I take it right from the report Isis must have resumed the 2302 RA trial. Any idea what that means?

Let's see now...

I've just found a gene finding expression in 90% of the malignant tissues my team has been studying.

We're now going to determine its sequence.

After that, what?

Just talk about it in a journal somewhere?

Well, there's always antisense.

Now, what organization has the demonstrated capability to make the antisense and get it through the approval process?

What do you know. There has been only one antisense drug approved in the United States. And look at all those patents on antisense this group has. Maybe we should give them a call...

Tom,

Amazing news. It just confirms what all of us Isisites have thought all along. Disease is caused by the inappropriate expression of defective genetic information. Stop the expression, stop the disease.
Show me the gene, I'll show you the cure.

This is fun to watch.

Thank you for news.

Jack

Interesting news. However, a key piece of information is not mentioned: what is the proportion of non-cancerous cells that have the MAG gene? We need that to assess the possible significance of the gene in cancer.
