Mooter and all: Since I hadn't received a fax, like in times past, regarding this call I decided to take the bull by the horns and call the FRB meself. There's good news, and there's bad news regarding this call. The good news is they're having the call. The bad news is it's only for the "professional" investor community. Professional investor? Yup, ie. for stock brokers, their houses, etc., and NOT for private investors. :-(!!

However, according to FRB if you have a broker then you can have them involved in the call but they must first be screened by FRB. Now ordinarily I'd be using language that cannot be printed here, but on further consideration me thinks this implies some VERY interesting things are afoot, and VLNC is trying to control news dissemination as much as possible. It's always been an implicit assumption of mine that principles in VLNC monitor such threads as SI, and god help us, Yahoo. I know I would t'were I in their shoes. If this is true, then putting meself in their shoes means that with things as close as the underground has been stating I'd certainly not want some of the more.....eh.....socially marginalized individuals, made evident by the Yahoo thread in particular, to be able to access the meeting. So a few bad apples MAY have spoiled it for the rest of us. This is just my opinion of course. So it goes.

Bottom Line? I guess we'll have to wait and see.....that and get a broker of mine to join the call. By the way, earnings will be released that same day. Not much to expect there excepting whatever monies are gleaned from those test batteries OEM's may have purchased.
