McAfee & Novell Partner For Corporate Virus Protection 11/03/98

HONG KONG, CHINA, 1998 NOV 3 (NB) -- By Staff, IT Daily. Anti-virus
software maker McAfee is partnering with Novell [NASDAQ:NOVL] to
deliver its virus programs with Novell systems for small to large
businesses in Hong Kong.

McAfee NetShield will be integrated into Novell NetWare for Small
Business 4.2 and eventually also into the rest of Novell's NetWare
products.

Small Business 4.2 will provide compressed file support, virus
scanning performance and automatic restoration of any corrupted
NetShield registry. In addition to support for NetWare, McAfee
NetShield provides anti-virus protection to Windows NT and Unix
servers.

With the new integrated product, customers will be able to use
Novell's networking products while obtaining protection for their
corporate data, without having to install and configure a separate
application or dedicate valuable resources to acquire and manage
security features.

McAfee NetShield for NetWare is available immediately and is priced
at HK$1,716 ($221.58) per 10-user license.
