George, silly me, not thinking of entities such as secret consortiums or anything else that may be unconventional, illegal or just plain unethical--doesnt any person or group accumulating over 5% of shares have to report it to the SEC? Pure and simple it prevents a hostile takeover although that would be extraordinarily unusual anyway in a high tech co where the employees are by far and away the most valuable assets without which the co is worth little. Anyway, so much for 'ANCR could be taken out for 50 million' :-). Not in this latency period.

George,

BullStroke posted again today over on Yahoo. I don't know if this relates to the recent shareholder rights plan, but he said that he was aware of at least 3 hostile Ancor takeover/under attempts.
