<LOS ANGELES, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Online music retailer K-Tel International Inc said Tuesday that Larry Kieves is replacing David Weiner as president.

A company spokeswoman said Weiner resigned in September to pursue other business opportunities. Kieves is new to the company, according to the spokeswoman. No further details were immediately available.

K-Tel shares rose sharply on Tuesday, closing up 6-3/8 to 13-1/4 on Nasdaq following news that Playboy's online unit has teamed up with K-Tel to compete directly with industry leader Amazon.com <AMZN.O>. .

I know the question was not directed to me but I had not problem. Two out of three firms had shares.
