richard, i agree that competition would help. the currency is their children, not ours. therin lies the other part of the problem.

if you think vouchers will improve the public schools then approve vouchers and LEAVE YOUR KIDS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS. not gonna happen, is it. why?

i'd go for some sort of program where private school teachers and administrators were introduced into the public school system. problem is, the current public school teachers and administrators will look out for their self interest above everyone elses. i guess they aren't the only ones that do that, though.

ok, let's cut to the chase. vouchers based on need. you get competition, minimize public expenditures and we help the less fortunate. the rich and middle class pay their own way. would you agree?
