Article in Investor's Business Daily: Start-Up Hopes To Shed More Light on Photonics (page A11) Very relevant to investors in CIEN. I don't know if its on the web, but here's some highlights. "SilkRoad claims its technology can provide 10 times more bandwidth than DWDM, at about half the price." "It hasn't yet made a sale, but SilkRoad says its in talks with nine telecom providers and corporations. It plans to start selling the system early next year." "Although SilkRoad is emerging from virtual obscurity, its technology appears to work, analysts say."
