<<In addition, while CD's are cheaper
here in the U.S., they are more expensive internationally so there is money to be
made in external U.S. sales. >>

People will not pay $18 for a CD when you can get it for $12 at the store.

<<You can also listen to the CD's before you purchase
them on their site, you can't do that at the brick and mortar stores.>>

Huh? Who cares? I can listen to a disc at a million sites or even download the MP3. If I listen to it at K-Tel, I'll buy it at Tower.

<<you and others on this board slant the picture to suit
your agenda.>>

I AM STATING A FACT. $18 FOR A CD IS A RIP OFF AND I AIN'T PAYIN IT.
I'D RATHER BUY FROM COLUMBIA HOUSE OR BMG THROUGH THE MAIL. I have no position and frankly I don't care to burn myself long or short on a $15 stock, but I am allowed to state an opinion that is very commonplace amongst us commoners in the real world. As far as books go, I do buy some of my books from AMZN -- only if the price is right.

<<If AMZN can soar to 126 with no earnings and none expected for
some time, certainly there is room for K-Tel to move a bit higher also, particularly if
they can garner more on-line arrangements (e.g., Playboy). JMHO. >>

I agree. Thus I hold no position. But they can have as many agreements as they want. If internet retailers cannot undercut or AT LEAST MATCH their brick and mortar counterparts, I and many other ordinary people will NOT buy from these companies and even in this wild and crazy market, profits eventually dictate stock price.
