OTOT

Congratulations on the Race.It must have been fun, have been in many 10K's, just to finish, and always did. Had a long term goal to be able to go 26 miles. Never did one , but entered the Long Beach
marathon once and went 6 miles just to say I had been there.
Was in two races where it was over 110 degrees at the start,
Mission Viejo Run to the Beach, awesome to survive, but you end up on the beach. I love that survival, great stuff(hehe)

Calvin, OT, thank you for the well wishes. I found a trick to the starting line so I didn't lose much time. My first mile was about 11 minutes, including crossing the starting line. Next year I will lose 10-15lbs and go for a 3:15. The weight makes all the difference in the world. I was happy with the results considering I was a fat bast*d for the race (my 17th BTW).

:o)
