Yes smoking kills people but I got a kick out of a PBS show a few weeks ago where they were talking about Hitler before the war. As an example of how irrational he was, there was an ad campaign about how Germany had found that smoking was bad for you and Hitler was trying to ban smoking among his people, therefore he was an insane dictator. Hmmmmmm, my how the times have changed.

As for Gays marrying not killing us. True, but you are going to pay allot more for your health insurance when your company has to pay family benefits for all those shared AIDS expenses. That is something the non-military doesn't realize about our wonderful "don't ask, don't tell" policy. 5 years ago the military under paid me but as compensation, my family got free dental care, free prescriptions and when I retired, I could count on medical treatment at the nearest base. All that is gone and more benefits are disappearing every day. Mean while, Wilford Hall AFB hospital is filling up with Gay AIDS patients receiving $15,000 in drug treatments.

As a senior leader I am expected to tell the young troops about how great military life is and how they should make it a career. I guess I should be busted because I tell them to get their educations while their in and then get a job where promises are kept and competition makes the companies compete to keep good people. The only people we attract now in the military can barely pass the induction tests. When I came in, you had to score in the 90% to work on Aircraft, or get some of the other high skill jobs. Now if you have a pulse, your in.

PS - They even took away our cheap cigs out of the commissary due to the Mother's groups pressure. LOL

Good Luck, looks like a gap up morning.
