Jon,

Dr. J has to smile (not sleep) like a baby. Or like Bill Clinton (even though it is fake.). He does not have anything to lose. He has to defend its own company's current earning record and its own future like no other company can catch on and bring MSFT deal as smoothly as he can be. He may not even has the chance to speak on that MSFT deal at all if he does not bring it up by himself.
